On U2 concert

I` ve just read an article , which was a critic about U2 `s concerts in the “Estadio Unico” in La Plata, the capital of Buenos Aires, located in Argentina.

As I went to the last concert , I wanted to share my emotion and happiness, because I`m actually a fan of this Irish group. It is formed by four men: Bono, the Edge , Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen.

According to their political ideology, I totally agree with it, because they are against the problems that Neoliberal societies are suffering. I was shocked ,when Leon Gieco was on their stage and they sang “ Solo le pido a Dios”. Also, there was another example that was when they performed a song called “ Miss Sarajevo”.

U2 showed us that the almost all politicians around the world have to learn about these messages against war , poverty, illnesses, diseases, hunger, etc. that the population of the countries of the “Third World” are suffering now.

  1. I totally agree with your description of U2. Bono and his band are fantastic ! Solidarity is a word that they do really know. There should be more people like Bono. He is a great man, with excellent music. Nice post !

  2. I'm also a fan of U2 and I've been to the second concert given in La Plata. It was simply "magnificent".A two-hour show full of great songs with important messages for politics, fans, and the whole world.

  3. I think that having this huge concerts in La Plata was amazing, even though there were people who did not like the idea of building such an expensive construction. In spite of its cost, the result was really incredible. Today we enjoyed this awesome band and hopefully in the future, there will be more important events, mainly in sports and music. Victoria.

  5. I was in one of the concerts performed by U2 last month and I agree with you that most of the times artists do things that many politicians should face, such as fighting against hunger, poverty, war or diseases as well as increasing awareness of these issues worldwide.
