The vuvuzelas are a sort of trumpets with an elongated shape used in some countries to encourage teams in sports, specially at football matches. They are popular in South Africa and they simulate the sound of the elephants, although their sound also reminds the buzzing of bees. In other words, the vuvuzelas are like the modern version of the kudus, the South Africa traditional horns. They were originally made of tin, but now they are made of plastic. Besides, its continuous sound has generated contradicted opinions in the world of football. Some people object the the noise that causes is so disproportionate that it makes impossible the coexistence with other forms of celebration. And some others believe the the use of vuvuzelas enrich the diversity that fans have to express themselves.

It is incredible when I watched the matches on TV. The noise of the vuvuzelas were so annoying that I couldn't concentrate on the games. But not only in the World Cup appeared the vuvuzelas but also in other parts of the world they will be used in order to be part of the funs when talking about celebration in the staduims.
