An anecdote

Hi people! I·m here again ,but this time with the intention of sharing with you the experience that I lived in my adolescence. In the previous months to my 15th birthday, I decided to send a letter  to my favourite actor, with the crasy idea of inviting him to my birthday party. As you see, I was a great dreamer during those times! For a while I began to feel anxious just thinking that he could answer me! Till one day, I saw a  letter lying on the floor, at the entrance of my house.  I couldn·t believe my eyes!!  And as I was so excited I couldn·t open it ! At last ,I did so ,and found a photo of him with a card that said:

Due to the large number of letters he receives,
D McC. regrets that he is unable to
answer you personally. Please accept the
enclosed photograph with Mr. Mc C·s sincere thanks.

I felt extremely happy at that moment , and I feel pleased now. This  lovely experience will be in my memories for ever!!

The worse journey of my life

I´ll never forget that summer journey to the Atlantic Coast. I never had a worse journey in my life. It was in February 2005 when a friend of mine invited me to go on holiday for a few days so as to have an enjoyable time together.
Everything seemed to be perfect. I was at the bus station on time and, believe it or not, I had all my belongings (all of them) with me. Suddenly, the loudspeaker announced that our bus had been delayed. Despite the hot weather, we didn´t mind waiting… two hours! At last, the bus set off and thanks to the air conditioning we forgot about the humid weather. Regrettably, it didn´t last for so long because half an hour later a sudden loud noise was heard and the air conditioning stopped working. Some passengers started to complain to the bus driver, but all he did was open the windows. Immediately, as if I were in the desert, I felt a hot wind blowing my face which made me even thirstier. On top of that, there was no water to quench my thirsty! “It´s a nightmare!” I thought. This made me believe I could sleep then but just when I closed my eyes another deafening noise was heard, but this time I smelt something burning! We were halfway when everyone had to get off the bus. I couldn´t believe my eyes! I was on the one side of the road, dying for a soft drink and waiting for another bus! I wished I was at home!
A year seemed to have passed until the second bus arrived (thanks God!). Finally, after seven hours we reached San Bernardo. Once there everything was in the right place, except for my bag and all my belonging (all of them!) which had been forgotten in the other bus! And my holidays were over!

The Yeya

When I was ten, my family and I went out from La Plata to a 5500 km journey in just 14 days along with “the yeya”, a Peugeot 504 1973 model. It was an incredible experience that will live for ever in my mind. It was the most exciting experience I have ever had. The yeya led us to the route 9 and 34 till we reached Villazon, Bolivia. In this way, we went through the provinces of Santa Fe, Santiago del Estero, Tucuman, Salta and Jujuy. On our way back, the yeya challenged the route 40 famously known because of its ways of gravel, temperatures higher than 33º C and a height of 4080m above the sea level. Going back down to Catamarca and Tucuman, there were no words to describe what the northern region of Argentina showed us. In other words, I can say that only the yeya and my family were witnesses of the trip that our lifes were counted in kilometers.

Hard Saturday night

It was a Saturday night, I was bored at home and I had been invited to a party in a friend’s house in Banfield. I wasn’t sure whether to go there or not. The distance and the money I’d have to spend made me doubt about it. Late at night I decided to go, so I took a bath and rushed to the railway station. Fortunately, I could catch the last train. There were no inconveniences; everything was alright up to Quilmes, where the train stopped. A person had committed suicide by throwing himself onto the railway tracks. For this reason, the train had to stop until the police arrived, and moved the corpse. I was running myself into trouble. As it was getting late and the place was unknown to me. I did what most of people did. I went to a bus stop, stood in a long queue and waited for the bus. The problem was that I hadn’t enough coins to pay. I needed change and there wasn’t any open shop where to get some. I walked two blocks to the nearest drugstore, got the change, and on the way back to the bus stop I saw the bus running off with everybody in. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I thought there was a curse on me. Desperate as I was, I began walking for a taxi. After walking a few blocks, I could catch one. We made an arrangement and he took me to the party for twenty pesos. It was quarter past four. Resentfully, I walked towards James’ house, which was in complete darkness. No sooner had I stepped in front of the door that read a notice on it that said “girls, we are in Tom’s house in Lanus”.
I took the first bus home with the last pesos I had. I arrived home at half a past six, exhausted, moody and penniless. I could finally say home sweet home, from now on no more parties, trains, buses, or even taxi cubs for me.

Freak accident

One day I was at home with my family, some of them were still sleeping, and others were doing nothing because it was another typical Sunday. It seems like it was just another Sunday but suddenly a great sound of some sort o explosion captured our attention.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw my grandfather screaming “a helicopter!!!” and trying to cover himself from what it seems to be a helicopter crushing very near our house, and then bursting into flames. It was just a second, but I thought this helicopter had crashed into our house.
Well, I wasn’t so wrong, a light aircraft crashed very near at the back of our house. Fortunately, the pilot tumbled through the trees in the wooded area of my town and despite of the terrible injures he suffered he could survive from this unusual accident.

The most frightening day of my life.

Last year I spent my summer holidays in the popular resort of Entre Rios. The hotel was comfortable and beautiful. The people were very friendly and talkative. In fact, I was having a marvellous holiday until the storm.
It was Saturday evening and everybody was relaxing by the swimming pool of the hotel. Some of us were listening to music, some of us were reading books, and others were playing in the water. Everything was calm and tranquil, but then all of a sudden, we heard an explosion! There was a terrible hush, and then a whisper of panic went around the place. An employee tried to appeal for calm, but he was drowned out by the sound of the swimming pool being struck by lightning. A strong wind blew, and suddenly all the things around us were in the air. I could hear people crying and shouting as we all saw trees, cars and bicycles flying through the sky. Then, against all odds, the strong wind stopped and rain began to fall. One of the men at the swimming pool announced that the situation was under control. I was very frightened. I suppose it only lasted a few minutes, but to me, it seemed like a lifetime.
Two years have passed since then, and to be honest, I don’t think I will ever be able to go to that place again. It was the most frightening experience of my life.

A Frightening Experience

In 1996 I visited San Andres island in Colombia. My family and I were staying in a hotel just opposite the beach. We were having a wonderful time there when a lovely breeze became a strong and fast wind. Since it had been announced through loudspeakers that a hurricane was approaching, everybody started rushing around sealing the hotel windows and placing sand bags on the ground in order to prevent water from the sea coming into the hotel. Suddenly, as the wind began blowing even harder, guests were told to go and stay in their rooms under their beds. We were also warned against walking around the hotel garden because a coconut may fall on our heads, causing a severe injury. Despite being scared to death, I was brave enough so as to open our room door and record part of the disaster with my video camera. It was hard to believe believe how huge waves had become. We stayed all that awful day long in our room waiting for the violent hurricane to go away. On the following day, luckily safe and sound, we could witness the trail of devastation it had left and know that the eye of it had been in Nicaragua.

Poodles

I have been breeding poodles for the last ten years of my life. And I must confess that thanks to them my life has changed for ever. But today, I am not going to tell you how they changed my life, what I want, is to tell you how this amazing breed is, the general appearance, character and sizes, colors and how to keep it.

If you decide to buy one, you should know that the general appearance of a Poddle is of a very active, intelligent, elegant-appearing, squarely built, and well proportioned dog that will always be moving soundly and carrying himself proudly

Although it is thought this dog is stupid, the Poodle, or better known in our country like Caniche, is considered one of the most intelligent breeds of dog. According to the standard of the breed in Argentina, we have different sizes: toy, miniature, medium, and the standard.

Regarding colors, here we have a great variety of coat colors. You usually see on streets the white ones but you could also find black, grey, brown and apricot. So, the alternative is it not only the size but you should also decide the color.

In order to keep your pet very attractive you should brush your dog’s coat and visit the dog’s groomer , at least, once every two months.Physical maintenance, like care of coat and nails, is also one of your dog's basic needs
Well, I can write a lot about them but I do not get you bored. May be next time I will tell you something more!!!

An Unforgettable Journey

Three years ago, I suggested that my family, my sister’s family and I should go fishing to a quiet and peaceful place. We wanted to go to Monte in two different cars: my car and my sister’s. I went with my husband and my children, and my sister went with her husband and their daughters. We left home early in the morning and it was a beautiful and warm day. We were travelling on the road to Monte for two hours, and then I stopped to buy some things on the way. From the moment we had left the place my sister’s car engine started hiccupping and it suddenly stopped. After that, my husband towed the car to the nearest garage but there wasn’t one nearby. Consequently, we decided to go back home but I suggested stopping to fish near a lake I had seen. I didn’t realize the lake was in the middle of nowhere. Later on we spent the night and we caught a lot of fish. Late at night, while everybody was sleeping, I heard a strange noise. Suddenly I saw my car moving backwards and it sank in the lake. I woke everyone up immediately and we tied a piece of rope to the front bumper to pull it out of the water.I felt very surprised and I couldn’t understand how that had happened. The following day, we decided to go back home early since we had gone through an unhappy situation.Fortunately, I could tow my sister’s car home. It was a long and tiring journey and we were all exhausted.I will never go fishing again because it was a bad experience to me! What do you think?

An anecdote

Last day, I had to teach my students some characteristics related to reptiles. Of course, I had to read about them just in case. When the class started, they tried to be curious in discovering new information and they shared the material they had brought. Some minutes later, one group started the project about snakes and they wanted to know all sorts of snakes, if they are dangerous, or if they live all over the world. I told them, that snakes are very easy to recognize as they have long and thin bodies, and no arms or legs. They were totally enthutistic with the process of the class and they found it completly different, because they realized that they could work together in a relaxing way. If we think that they are only six years old, we will probably undestand that anger for learning. To sum up, my students showed me the pleasure of learning from others.
