Hello people,
here we`re at last, almost about to finish our course. It's been a long and hard year, but I'm happy because I've seen significant changes in your performance. Now, here's a final task. I'd like you to leave a message for the students attending English Language and Expression III next year.
Anyway, I expect you to continue visiting this blog and contribute to its development by writing comments on future postings.
Farewell, dear students.

Anahí: this first message is for you - then, I´ll leave another one for the students attending the following year. I´d like to thank you for this year: your excelent classes, your responsability and consideration, your commitment, your hard effort and valenty to correct every assignment on time. It seems to me you love too much your job. That is what you have transmited us in every class!
ReplyDeleteLastly, I want to thank you for teaching me too many useful things, and for helping me get the best from me. You were a guide, a tutor.
So, Thank you for everything. You are one of those people to remember...
Lorna
My message for the students attending this subject in 2010 is enjoy it and work hard! It does not sound very attractive this "work hard" but it is the only way to achieve your objectives. It is not a very easy subject, but if you work as you should you will see the rewards. You will learn a lot about writing, besides, you will have the opportunity to improve your language and oral performance and to participate is this blog to give your opinios and to share what you are interested in.
ReplyDeleteGood luck !
Cheeps
Thank you, Lorna, for your very kind words.

Thanks for those very kinds words. I'd love to attend to this subject next year - first I must pass L&WE II, we're with the last partial tests. But, if everything goes ok, I'll be facing this new challenge soon. I can't wait to start ^_^.
ReplyDeleteAnahi!! thank you very much for your classes full of energy and good humor.. Language and Oral Expression has always been a boring subject for me, however, your dynamism made me enjoy very much the attendance of the subject!!On the other hand, your election as regards material and exercices have helped me a lot to improve my writing. Besides, the extensive reading made monthly for the blog was really usefull, since reading is the best way to write better!!
ReplyDeleteFinally, thank you for yous corrections, your comments, for showing me the way to do things in this subject... Farewell Anahi!!
And, for the future students my piece of adivice is to read as much as they can. Reading is the only way to learn to be aware of the way structures function, to learn a lot of vocabulary and expressions, to get fresh ideas for your own writing, etc..And never, but never give up trying!!
Regards, Angels.
The same as Lorna did, firstly, I ´d like to congratulate our teacher warmly on her patient work with us. Because she´s been not only a good and responsible teacher but also a kind person when having to help us improve despite our individual problems. Secondly, I would tell the future students this is a demanding and challenging subject, particularly for those who are weaker at writing like me. But once you´ve followed the teacher´s instructions and devoted some time and effort to the assigned activities, you can see the profit. Personally, now, at the end of this course, I feel more confident about writing than before. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt is highly advisable to attend Language and Written Expression III. You are provided with the necessary tools to achieve proper pieces of writing within a relaxed athmosphere. The teacher's evaluation is coherent to the development of her classes.
ReplyDeleteFor those who will attend Written Language III the following year: it is true that this is a VERY demanding subject but you will enjoy it! You will have to work hard not only in class but at home. However, I assure you the reward is extremely satisfying! It is a "step by step" work but definetely you`ll perceive the improvements as time goes by. I think the key is the sequence "writing + feddback + writing + feedback" and so on... Of course Reading helps you a lot! But if you don't practice, there's no way to become a better writer.
ReplyDeleteSo, I wish you the best!!!!
